Welcome to My Elementary Special Education Blog

This site is for students and parents to access information regarding assignments, lessons, and extra work outside of the classroom.

Students will find information on lessons and assignments we are doing in class that they may have missed and resources for extra help, as well as a calender of events for the upcoming months.

Parents can stay up to date with what the students are participating in in the classroom and additional practice for them outside of the classroom. Also a calender of events and volunteer information is available.

Enjoy!!

Week of February 15

Learning the ABC's

In class, we reviewed the alphabet and each individual letter's sound(s), as well as words that represent each letter and sound. As a class we visited an online website that relates each letter of the alphabet with an object that begins with the specific letter. We then wrote out and separated the letters of our first name and found an object that begins with each individual letter in our names.

For Example:
Ericka.....E-Elephant, R-Rabbit, I-Ice Cream, C-Clown, K-Kite, A-Alligator

Below is a link to the website we engaged in. It is a fun and helpful review outside of the classroom!
